What an opportunity to see the combined works of over fifty artists at the established Federation House, located behind the Printworks in Manchester. It’s not often you get the chance to see such a large body of work in one place but this is something that has been championed by Castlefield Gallery who have run this venture for the last year. Unfortunately now having to find a new home for this type of cool artistic venture (boohoo) due to the building being taken off their hands and given back to a new commercial owner. I hope it won’t be too long before another venue will be found as I (and lots of other artists) would love to chance to create or exhibit artwork in such a great facility.
Here is a brief rundown of the artists and artist groups involved in the last great Federation House of artists.
